The six nylon nonconductive dual wheel casters support the base and allow smooth transport with minimal effort. The base features a reservoir to collect fluid and reduce spillage on the O.R. floor. The external battery charger plugs into the access port on the base of the POWER LIFTER®. (Note: The POWER LIFTER® will not work while the unit is plugged in. We suggest that a recharge schedule be established to prolong the battery life.)
