The Optec® 1000P for School, Athletic, DMV, and
Pre-Employment Vision Testing

The Optec® 1000P vision tester is ideal for pre-employment
vision testing, as well as basic patient vision screening and school and
athletic physical exams. The Optec® 1000P provides a complete array of vision
exams, including acuity, color, muscle balance, and contrast sensitivity tests.
The classic Optec® 1000P kit includes the Elementary Test Slide (1000-22)
Standard, the Multiple Acuity Slide (1000-23) Standard, Plus and Near Point
lenses, Allen test flash card, dust cover, record forms, and instruction
manual.
The Optec® 1000P is utilized in occupations that use pre-employment vision
testing to determine whether a candidate meets certain vision requirements
regarding distance vision and/or the ability to discern color. Schools and
athletic departments use the Optec® 1000P to perform regular vision testing for
students and athletes.
Features of the Optec® 1000P

Remote-controlled tester that provides standard vision screening for school,
athletic, and pre-employment vision testing.

Complete range of vision tests, such as acuity, color, muscle balance, and
contrast sensitivity.

A peripheral test that analyzes vision on a horizontal plane with flashing
lights at 85, 70, and 55 degrees, temporal and nasal.

Test slides which are manufactured on premium photographic film and sealed
between two glass plates for increased durability.
- Compact dimensions requiring no more than two square feet of space (17.5 in.
long, 9 in. wide, and 10 in. tall) and weighing less than 15 pounds.
